Ambassador Video Guidelines
Flow Star Tutorial Video Parameters
1. Filming Orientation & Quality
1. Filming Orientation & Quality
- Horizontal (landscape) please see Horizontal Filming Template at the bottom for creating a video that crops well to both Horizontal and Vertical orientation.
- Use at least 1080p (HD) — higher if possible (4K looks great, but not required).
- Keep the lens clean and stable (tripod or prop the phone if possible).
- Film in good lighting (outdoor daylight or well-lit indoor space).
- Avoid backlighting (don’t stand with a bright window or sun directly behind you).
- Choose a clean/simple background so the Flow Star design pops.
- Keep your full body + Flow Star visible in frame at all times.
- Leave a little space above your head so nothing gets cut off.
- Center yourself — Flow Star should be the star of the show.
4. Length
- Keep tutorials 3 minutes max (short + digestible).
Horizontal Filming Template - Keep center of focus in the "Essential Center Square" so that the video can be cropped for Horizontal and Vertical formats.

EXAMPLES

5. Teaching Style
- Start with a quick intro: “Hey flowmies, this is (Your Name) with First Earth, today I’ll show you how to do the [trick name]!”
- Show the trick once at full speed.
- Prerequisites - Let them know any tricks they might need before attempting
- Break it down step by step slowly.
- Repeat again at full speed.
- Optional: add tips (“Keep your wrists loose,” “Think of drawing an infinity sign,” etc.).
- Optional:Slow Motions breakdown
- Clear voice if you’re talking while filming, clip on microphones are cheap and awesome!
- If audio is noisy or if your not comfortable speaking while teaching, feel free to add a voice over or subtitles.
- No background music (we can edit in music if needed).
7. Thumbnail Photo
- Please include a photo that can be used when we create the preview thumbnails.

- Wear something fun/First Earth gear if you have it (brand rep 👕✨).
- Use a First Earth Flow Star!
- Use a tripod.
- Do a practice run or two!
👉 A good structure is:
- Quick intro (5–10 sec) — say the trick name, maybe a fun line.
- Full-speed demo (5–10 sec).
- Step-by-step breakdown (45–90 sec).
- Repeat full-speed demo to close (5–10 sec).
- If it goes a little longer (like 3–4 min) for more complex tricks, that’s fine, but ideally under 3 minutes keeps it easy to share across all platforms.
